2. Process

PART I: HOW TO MAKE AN ORAL PRESENTATION.

1. Work with a classmate. Go through all the websites suggested in the Resources page.
2. Take notes on the ideas you consider relevant to include in your outline.
3. Make sure your outline includes the following information:
  • Steps in a presentation
  • Brief explanation of each step
  • Characteristics your presentation must have. Aspects you must consider to make a good oral presentation.
  • Elements and characteristics you should NOT include in a presentation.
4. As soon as you are sure you have all the information needed, you will have to make an outline in a WORD DOCUMENT with all the information collected.

5.Send your WORD DOCUMENT presentation to your teacher: carolinapherrera@gmail.com
(DURING THE CLASS).

(last name of each member of the group followed by an underscore "_")

PART II: Working in your ORAL PRESENTATION.

  1. Choose a topic. Remember your presentation will be descriptive. 
  2. Decide which aspects are you going to include in your presentation.
  3. Go through some websites related to your topic and choose the ones that will be helpful for you.
  4. Prepare the Power Point presentation you will use in the evaluation.
  5. Decide who will talk about what.
  6. Work in the vocabulary list you will have to include in your presentation and handout.
  7. Make the handout for your classmates.
